Privacy Policy
Last updated October 27, 2026
This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to run the Service, we keep each company's data separate, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- Website requests. When you fill out the request form on dbgkit.com: your name, company, email, phone, state, shop size, plan interest and any message you write.
- Account information. Names, email addresses and roles of the people on your company's account.
- Your company's business data. Whatever you enter into the tools — customers, buildings, units, estimates, invoices, payments, pricing, and employee or subcontractor records.
- Billing information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We see the plan, payment status and the last four digits of the card; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Basic technical data. Standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) kept to secure and troubleshoot the Service.
How we use it
- To run, secure, back up and support the Service, and to respond to your requests.
- To send account and billing emails and important notices about the Service.
- We don't sell personal or business data, don't use your company's data to market to your customers, and don't share it with other DBGkit members.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the Service: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Cloudflare (website hosting and security), Stripe (payments), and Google Workspace (email). Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Each provider only receives what it needs to do its job.
How we protect it
- All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
- Each company's records are isolated at the database level, so one company can never see another's data.
- Access inside your company is controlled by roles set by your account owner.
Cookies
The website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The app uses only what's needed to keep you signed in.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your company's data while you're a member. After cancellation we keep it for 90 days so you can return or take a copy, then delete it. You can ask us to export, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing info@dbgkit.com. Website requests from people who don't become members are deleted within 12 months.
Children
DBGkit is a business tool and isn't directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and email account owners about important changes.
